Weighted Minky Throw Rug

This throw is fantastic, keeps my daughter comforted and clam

My ASD kid needed a weighted blanket to help with regulation, and specifically asked me for a pink fluffy one. It wasn't an easy ask but this throw is absolutely perfect! It's a lovely soft minky fabric, the size is suitable for a single bed, and just the right weight for her small teen size. I couldn't recommend this more highly!

I’ve had to be careful with weighted products due to physical condition but I trialled a friend’s blanket before buying this and not only can I manage this but the texture of the minky is so much more soothing than the one I trialled. Has helped me through ptsd flare (nervous system overactive) to lower arousal levels, and though this flare was bad I managed without hospital this time with the blanket. My son has also found it helpful for his sleep and anxiety levels, and gets to sleep quicker with the blanket.
Only qualm is that would’ve been nice to have a slightly bigger throw option that could cover a double bed, or even an option to go on a queen bed. My son and I have to juggle sharing it as he’s too old to cuddle and the blanket is too small for double bed. I’ll have to get another but it’s too big for two on the one bed, yet too small for a double bed if two people are in bed.
Dog not phased by it, cats love texture like a couple of their favourite fluffy blankets, and us humans it’s helped a lot.

Thank you for my new weighted throw rug. I was originally going to purchase a large weighted blanket, then saw your smaller weighted throw rug. So much better having the smaller size. Easier to carry between the lounge room and bedroom and still heavy enough to be like a big hug. It Is everything I had hoped for and more. The effect of the “hug” happens within minutes and calms my anxiety and makes me feels safe. So soft and cuddly and great quality. Thanks again.
