Diatomite is a natural siiceous rocky soil accumulated over years in fresh water lakes and has a neutral PH, is safe, light and soft. It contains millions of micropores allowing the bathmat to be extremely absorbent and fast drying!

The surface has a lovely soft feeling and is not slippery. The non- slip bottom also means it will never slip around your bathroom, keeping you safe getting in and out of the shower or bath.

Care instructions: Simply wash with clean running water and allow to air dry.

Fabulous mat, gentle on the feet.

I recently purchased the Diatomite Fast Drying Mat for myself. I have developed some sensory challenges as a result pf neuropathy in my feet. The challenges include sensory pain and avoidance as well as regular falls. The mat has allowed me to experience showering without discomfort. It feels great on my feet and is nonslip. We hang it up after showering the water runs straight off and it is generally dry within a few hours in the bathroom. It would take less of course if hung outside.

Not only does it function well, it is also an attractive mat. It looks great in our new, accessible bathroom. We chose black which matches our monotone decoration.
