I’m Sarah, a mum of two and founder of The Sensory Specialist which opened in 2020. A proud NDIS Registered Provider - we are now a leading sensory store in Australia, backed by our strong customer base and expert knowledge of disabilities and child development.
In 2025 we rolled out our brand into Chemist Warehouse, Bunnings and Baby Bunting. Also keep an eye out for our sensory products in the community, including Margaret Court Arena, hundreds of schools, and Caulfield Park Community Centre.
As a former Psychology teacher, I’ve worked closely with children of all needs and abilities. This lived experience has helped me curate and develop inclusive tools that actually work.
We’re proud to support neurodivergent individuals, families, educators, and therapists by offering tools and spaces that help individuals thrive. Our mission is to advocate for accessibility and inclusivity for all.
Our Warehouse is based in Cheltenham, Melbourne, and run be an all female team - from those packing your orders to responding to your emails.
