My Zones of Feelings Auslan Edition – Emotions Flash Cards in Australian Sign Language
Based on Leah Kuypers’s Zones of Regulation framework, the My Zones of Feelings Auslan Edition helps children identify emotions, understand feelings and communicate them using Auslan.
The set includes 38 flash cards divided into four colour-coded zones: blue, green, yellow and red - making it easier for children to recognise how they are feeling and build emotional awareness through visual learning.
Each card features a feeling, corresponding Auslan sign and reflection prompts to support conversations around emotional regulation, coping strategies and self-awareness.
Designed for use at home, in classrooms and therapy settings, this resource supports both communication development and emotional literacy.
Created in collaboration with experienced Auslan users including Kirsten Mooney, David Grant and Gail Smith, with wider consultation from the Deaf community.
