Why Choose These Acoustic Tiles?
Sound matters more than most people realise. In a noisy classroom or sensory room, echo and background noise can make it significantly harder for children and adults with sensory sensitivities, ADHD, or auditory processing difficulties to concentrate, regulate, and feel calm.
These Peel 'n' Stick Acoustic Tiles are the practical, beautiful solution - absorbing sound, reducing echo, and transforming bare walls into functional feature walls that support both focus and visual expression.
- ✔ Noticeably quieter rooms - NRC 0.40 sound absorption rating
- ✔ Velvety, tactile surface that is calming and sensory to the touch
- ✔ Pin directly into the surface - no pins or hooks needed on your walls
- ✔ Hook-and-loop receptive - attach schedules, visuals and resources with ease
- ✔ Simple peel-and-stick installation - no tools, no spray adhesive, no dry time
- ✔ Made from 100% recycled PET polyester - durable, washable, and long-lasting
- ✔ Suitable for classrooms, sensory rooms, therapy spaces, offices and home

How to Install
No tradesperson required. No spray adhesive. No special tools.
- ✔ Clean and dry your wall surface before applying
- ✔ Peel the backing from the tile to reveal the adhesive
- ✔ Press firmly onto the wall and hold for 30 seconds
- ✔ Tiles can be repositioned if needed - simply peel away carefully and reapply
- ✔ Mix and match tile colours and arrangements to create a custom feature wall
Best surfaces: Plasterboard, painted walls, smooth masonry. Not recommended for textured, unpainted, or damp surfaces.
Tip: Plan your layout on the floor first before sticking tiles to the wall - it's much easier to adjust the arrangement before committing.
Sensory Room & Classroom Use
Acoustic tiles are one of the most effective and overlooked tools in a sensory or learning environment. Here's why they matter:
- ✔ Echo reduction - hard walls and floors create reverb that can be overwhelming for people with auditory sensitivities, ADHD, or autism
- ✔ Classroom acoustics - poor acoustics increase cognitive load. Better sound environments improve attention, comprehension and behaviour
- ✔ Tactile stimulation - the soft, velvety texture provides gentle sensory input for children and adults who benefit from tactile engagement
- ✔ Visual organisation - the pinnable and hook-and-loop surface turns your wall into a display board for schedules, visual supports, and class resources without damaging your walls
Trusted by schools, therapy clinics, NDIS providers and sensory room designers across Australia.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will these tiles damage my walls?
The peel-and-stick backing is designed to hold firmly but remove cleanly from most painted wall surfaces. We recommend testing on a small area first, particularly on wallpaper or older paint finishes.
Can I pin things into them?
Yes. The surface is self-healing and pinnable - pins and thumbtacks can be inserted and removed without leaving visible marks over time.
Are they hook-and-loop compatible?
Yes. The pile surface is hook-and-loop (Velcro®-style) receptive, making them ideal for attaching visual schedules, learning resources, and classroom displays.
How many tiles do I need?
Each tile is 600mm × 600mm (0.36m²). Divide your wall area (in m²) by 0.36 to estimate the number of tiles. Packs contain 6 tiles, covering approximately 2.16m².
Can I use them outdoors?
These tiles are designed for indoor use only. Exposure to moisture, UV light or temperature extremes may affect adhesion and material durability.
How long is the lead time?
These tiles are custom made to order. Please allow 10–15 business days from order to dispatch.
