How it works
Your calm corner becomes a "home base" for big feelings. When emotions feel big, your child can step into their calm space, choose a tool such as the calm down bottle, blanket or emotion cards, and be supported while they regulate.
This isn't about stopping emotions, it's about supporting children through them. Big feelings like frustration, sadness and overwhelm are part of growing up. What children need is a space where those feelings are safe, tools to help them move through it, and support while they learn.
